I participated in the first cohort of Hako, a projection design workshop organized by award-winning Los Angeles-based projection design studio BARTKRESA Studio. The workshop gathered participants from all around the world with varying levels of design and technical skill to create an animation for Hako, a sculpture designed by the BARTKRESA Studio.
Over the course of five weeks I put together a concept and created an animation for my Hako. I used a combination of analog and digital techniques, as well as 2D and 3D animation and compositing.
Thanks to the amazing network that was born out of the Hako community, fellow Hako members projected my work in different locations around the world. Special thanks to Jose Luis Palma (Spain), Omar Serna (Mexico) and Darren Lindsay (US) for projecting my animation on their Hakos in their respective countries.

A selection of animations, including mine, was selected to be projected on a Hako at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. The show ran from 1 March to 5 March 2021. Organized by Dr William Franco.
